Fastway gives its iFastway app a facelift
After a recent major facelift, Fastway Couriers ’ popular iFastway app will now sport a more user-friendly interface as well as improved look and feel.
CEO of the courier franchise, Richard Thame explained that the app was downloaded approximately 5,000 times last year and has been revamped to reflect both Fastway's recent brand refresh and the evolving needs of users.
"We're constantly looking for new ways we can make the latest technology work for our customers. Our iFastway app offers everyone an easy, convenient and reliable way to track and trace their parcels – anywhere, anytime," says Thame.
Thame continued to explain that the introduction of the new branding provided an opportunity to update the app, optimising the interface for a better user experience. The updated version will not only be easier to use and more functional than ever before, it will also look great.
The iFastway app provides Fastway customers with complete parcel tracking information, direct to their internet-connected iPhone, iPad or Android device.
"It's also extremely useful when placing orders, with an inbuilt courier price and service calculator. This allows customers to correctly and conveniently identify the appropriate prepaid label to use on a parcel. The app will even display a delivery timeframe based on the input destination and weight," says Thame.
Additionally, the app will list parcel browsing history, giving bulk customers the ability to quickly refer back to a previously tracked item, and will display a signature as proof of delivery for all parcels as added peace of mind.
The iFastway app is compatible with all iOS devices, and is free to download from the iTunes store. An Android-compatible version is also available for download through the Android Market.
