The Le Cornu Furniture franchise has a history that dates back to 1854, when the founder, Phillip Joshua Le Cornu migrated to Southern Australia from Jersey in the Channel Islands. He was a cabinet maker by trade and sailed on the "Evening Star.” Later, Phillip Joshua founded a furniture and bedding factory and eventually became an undertaker.
