Exclusive deal signed by SIGNARAMA to supply signage franchises with HP technology

SIGNARAMA has signed a worldwide exclusive partnership deal with HP that will enable the company to offer advanced HP printing technology to all of its international signage franchises.

All new SIGNARAMA signage franchises will now come equipped with the HP L25500 1500mm, large format DesignJet printer.

Utilising HP’s proprietary latex ink technology, these printers will allow SIGNARAMA printing franchises to deliver superior print quality for a wider print of print applications, while ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.

L25500 DesignJet printers feature recyclable media and very low air pollutant emissions, providing users with an environmentally green solution for a wide range of printing applications.

SIGNARAMA President Jim Tatem says that the company is thrilled that its signage franchises will be able to offer a superior print product as a result of the new product.

“Not only can we now offer customers a 100% green solution with no harmful hazardous air pollutants and free media recycling, we are also offering an advanced product that allows for indoor quality prints with outdoor durability,” Tatem comments.

The HP Planet Partners Program and HP Media Take Back Program will enable SIGNARAMA signage franchises to recycle all waster generated by their new DesignJet printers free of charge, including large format banners.

The Burswood SIGNARAMA printing franchise was one of the first to receive the HP L25500, and franchisee David Read says that customers are already appreciating the wide range of media the store can now print on.

“This printer allows us to create unparalleled vehicle graphics and even print on paper and wallpaper,” he explains, adding that “since HP provides the media at prices comparable to non-Green media, we are able to offer our customers the opportunity to be environmentally conscious, without spending more money.”
