The Ultra Tune Australia franchise is a provider of car services that was established in 1979. The automotive services franchise commenced operations with its first pilot outlet in Box Hill, Melbourne. Later, in 1982 the air conditioning repairs business expanded rapidly and the founder of the firm split the business into different states namely Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, all of which were purchased and run by local franchisees in each of the states.

The three Eastern States merged in 1988 and formed UltraTune Systems (Australia) Pty Limited. This again expanded into Western Australia and currently has grown into a national franchise company consisting of 200 franchise outlets that are operated by experienced and trained technicians. However, the South Australian group has remained independent.

The Ultra Tune Australia franchise started off with a fixed price tune and lube service and at present it provides a comprehensive range of fixed price services to the fleet and private motorists. Each of the services of the air conditioning repairs business are developed to be performed in a structured manner of operating procedures, thereby ensuring quicker, more efficient and cost-effective offerings. The automotive services franchise provides a full range of services and mechanical repairs to the motorists 19.10.2007
