EFM Health Clubs announces winners of the 2011 EFM Franchisee of the Year awards
EFM Health Clubs fitness franchise has announced the winners of the 2011 EFM Franchisee of the Year awards. The award ceremony took place at the EFM Health Clubs National Conference, which was held at Stamford Grand in Adelaide.
According to Matthew Lindblom, EFM Managing Director, the focus of the national conference was on the fitness franchises growth, especially in existing businesses.
“Our focus for the year ahead is very much on assisting Franchisees to derive greater profit from their businesses,” said Lindblom.
“As Franchisor, we’re investing heavily in further streamlining our business model so that Franchisees have more available time to allow them to go out and grow their businesses”.
Ty Menzie was given the top award of National Franchisee of the Year for his successful EFM franchisee at Frankston, Victoria.
Chris French was awarded South Australian Franchisee of the Year for his EFM North Adelaide, South Australia franchise, while Patsy Askew was named Eastern State Franchisee of the Year for the branch at EFM Herston, Queensland.
The EFM Franchisee of the Year awards marks their candidates on combination criteria, which includes the franchisee’s annual turnover growth, overall turnover, participation in group events and contribution to the group.
“The award system certainly rewards turnover and growth, but more importantly it places equal weighting on a Franchisee’s contribution to assisting fellow Franchisees to achieve success. Team work is one of the real strengths of our organisation,” said Lindblom.
The finalists of the Franchisee of the Year awards had also awarded Rookie of the Year 2011 to Adrian Mitchell and his exercise franchises store in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
