Debt Rescue financial services franchise offers financial literacy lessons to children
The Debt Rescue financial services franchise group believe that in an adults journey to financial freedom and security it is important to instil the right values and money management techniques into children, because while the company are passionate about the solutions they provide, they are even more passionate about preventing financial distress altogether.
For many Australians struggling with financial debt there often feels like no way out, so when Debt Rescue operations manager, Rachael Witton was invited to speak to a year 2 class at St Andrew's Anglican College about what she does for a job she made sure to begin an education in financial literacy which the children's' parents and teachers could continue.
During the discussion with the class of 7 year olds, Witton was asked questions about what Debt Rescue financial services franchises do and how they help the community. The children learnt about the company's passion for helping people to live a fuller, happier and more enjoyable life.
When it was her turn to ask questions, Witton received some amazing responses, with almost every child saying they received pocket money in remuneration for the completion of household chores, which meant they were earning money in a way that taught them respect for it.
Debt Rescue want to encourage parents, teachers and other financial services professionals to teach children through education that money is part of everyday life and the right skills and habits in how to manage it are required from a young age. A responsible attitude toward money is the key to creating abundance and it makes no difference how much money is earned, it is what a person does with it that counts.
Debt Rescue financial services franchises are available to discuss lessons in financial literacy for those wanting to help their children learn the basics and push them in the right direction of a stable and bright future.
