Darriwill Farm franchise’s selection process for its giftware franchise owners
Darriwill Farm franchising utilises a detailed and selective "Partner Selection and Engagement Process" that allows the firm to form relationships that will be mutually beneficial to both franchisee and franchisor. The retail franchise’s selection process involves nine stages that prospective members are expected to complete before they become licensed franchisees.
The first stage for prospective members of the food and beverage franchise is the completion and submission of the application. Second is the Telephone Screen stage where a member of the Darriwill Farm Franchise Department will contact the applicant and discuss with them their suitability to the Darriwill Farm franchising system.
In the third stage the prospective member of the Darriwill Farm franchise will receive an email containing all the required information regarding the franchise. Following this the member is expected to pass a preliminary interview and on successful completion is provided with the franchise documents of the food and beverage franchise.
If the franchisee is satisfied with the Darriwill Farm franchise system then he/she will be expected to go through a second interview an in-store experience and evaluation stage and then an interview with the directors of the giftwares franchise at the Darriwill headquarters. On completing this interview, the franchisee undergoes a final stage of training before opening his/her business. 02.11.2007
