Crust Gourmet Pizza Bars opens first gourmet pizza franchise in New Zealand

Capping off an already successful year that has seen the opening of its 100th gourmet pizza franchise, Crust Gourmet Pizza Bars has announced that it has opened its first store in New Zealand.

Co-Founder and Managing Director of Crust Gourmet Pizza Bars, Costa Anastasiadis, explains that he is extremely passionate about bringing the company's unique pizza concept to an international market.

"New Zealand is a thriving market and as soon as we visited the area we knew it was a strong fit for our business. We can’t wait for New Zealanders to fall in love with our pizza," he says.

This year has also seen Crust expand into South Australia for the first time, with the company now offering its range of healthier choice pizzas in most states and territories across Australia.

Costa attributes much of the success of Crust gourmet pizza franchises to the company's reputation for offering restaurant quality pizzas with the convenience of a take away service.

"People have increasingly busier lifestyles and are demanding the convenience of a takeaway product but don’t want to compromise on quality," he concludes.
