Croissant Express announces rollout of new bakery franchises

After a successful 23 years in operation, Croissant Express has announced plans to expand its network of bakery franchises across Australia, setting a target to recruit ten new franchise stores per year.

Several franchisees have already signed on since the new recruitment drive began, with one store in Brisbane now established, and two new Perth stores set to open in the coming months. Further expansion into Asia is also mooted.

“The immediate response we have received to franchising Croissant Express stores indicates the time is definitely ripe for this expansion,” says new Croissant Express Business Development Manager Lina De Petro.

While it is an advantage, Lina points out that no baking or food preparation experience is required to invest in the bakery franchises.

Croissant Express supplies franchisees with training, backup support visits and manuals to assist in establishing and developing their business.

“It was a purposeful decision that new stores should be franchised to owner-operators under the guidance and traineeship of the corporate operations support staff,” Lina says.
