City Farmers Dogwash franchisee, Fiona Edis, wins 2011 Franchisee of the Year - with less than 2 staff
City Farmers Dogwash franchisee, Fiona Edis, has won the 2011 Franchisee of the Year – with less than 2 staff, at the recent Westpac Franchise Council Australia (FCA) Excellence in Franchising Awards, which was held in Melbourne 11 October 2011.
Earlier this year, Edis had also won the regional award of the same category at the Western Australia FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards 2011. Edis had taken her title to compete against other regional winners, from across the nation, in order to take the top place at the national awards.
Fiona Edis had chosen to join City Farmers Dogwash because the pet care franchises had also shared her passion in doing something worthwhile and making a difference.
“For every minute I spend with our customers’ dogs in the hydro-bath, I care for it as if it was my very own beloved friend. I truly love what I do and to be acknowledged for it at a national level is just icing on the cake,” says Edis.
Edis’ award recognises all the contributions she has made to the dog wash franchises, as well as the community including actively supporting the Dogs’ Refuge Home in Shenton Park and the RSPCA Million Paw Walk.
“At City Farmers we pride ourselves on our customer service and we’re all so proud of Fi. Nothing beats the relationship and the connection our Dogwash Franchisees have with customers and their dogs at their homes and it’s great that this relationship is appreciated and recognised,” says City Farmers managing director, Clayton Hollingsworth.
