Business owner swaps Carousel for Phuket after top national ranking

The award of a trip to Phuket is part of the annual Fit to Trade program run by TeleChoice to reward franchisees. The award is judged on sales targets, standards and merchandising criteria along with operational competencies.
With over 100 TeleChoice computer and internet franchise stores nationally, competition internally and externally is tough but the Lukan's have remained consistently amongst the top five over the last few years, which Michael says has been achieved through a team effort.
“Staff are the number one priority. If you treat staff the way you would like to treated, then they will enjoy their job, help you grow the store and become successful in their role,” said Mr Lukan.
Motivated by the freedom to become their own boss and meet new and interesting people, the Lukan’s purchased TeleChoice Perth Central in May 1999 and later purchased TeleChoice Carousel in October 2005. The Lukan’s are the longest serving franchisees in the TeleChoice network.
“We are honoured to be recognised again amongst the top five stores nationally. The trip to Phuket was a rewarding experience for me and recognition of all the hard work Mike and I and the team have put in to the store and the community over the last 12 months.
“Although with an ever growing franchisee network and predicted rapid growth of TeleChoice store numbers nationally, we won’t be complacent and will continue to work hard to ensure we improve standards and customer service so we remain amongst the top five,” said Mrs Lukan.
Borge Prinsloo, TeleChoice National Franchise Manager, congratulates Michael and Angeline for maintaining a high level of service and consistently ranking in the top five TeleChoice stores.
“It is a competitive environment with many successful franchisees continuously exceeding expectations. We run Fit to Trade to reward our high achievers and at the end of each year the top five are treated to all expenses paid, five star international holiday, which this year was in Thailand,” said Mr Prinsloo.
