Bucking Bull opens 28th store in Robina Town Centre, QLD

It’s been an exciting start to the year for Bucking Bull with the opening of two new burger franchise stores within the space of one month.

Late March saw the opening of Bucking Bull Grand Central in Toowoomba and this month the latest addition to the burger restaurant franchise was unveiled at the newly redeveloped Robina Town Centre on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Thursday 2nd April marked the official opening of the stage two developments of Robina Town Centre and more than 60,000 people – almost one ninth of the Gold Coast’s population – flocked to the opening to take a look at its brilliant makeover.

Robina Town Centre has been undergoing a $300 million expansion. With stage two now complete, the centre features the Gold Coast’s only David Jones department store as well as Australia’s largest Big W, Target, Kmart, Coles, two Woolworths and over 300 specialty stores. The expansion also includes a new state of the art 900 seat food court with up to 14 dining options. The air-conditioned ‘Food Atrium’ covers 1500sqm – the size of five tennis courts.

The new Robina outlet is the second Bucking Bull outlet for franchisee George Ioannou. George also owns the Tweed City store which opened in August last year. On opening another Bucking Bull restaurant franchise store, George said "In looking for another investment opportunity in these uncertain times and due to the level of support I have received with my first store at Tweed Heads, I decided to re-invest in the Bucking Bull franchise and open a second store".

George is thrilled with the success of his store so far. "The store has more than exceeded my expectations with a number one ranking in the first week with only three days of trade".

His goals for the new store in 2009 "are to maintain high standards of customer service and quality, ensuring a profitable and high ranking store."
