Anytime Fitness hits 300 franchise territories
Anytime Fitness has hit a record of 300 franchise territories in Australia and has opened 130 clubs in less than three years. These numbers match the record set in the fitness franchises’ domestic market in the USA.
Anytime Fitness Australia’s master franchisees, as well as brother and sister team, Justin McDonell and Jacinta McDonell-Jimenez believe the gym franchises will continue to expand with about eight to ten clubs opening each month.
“So it won’t be long before we have over 300 clubs open in Australia,” said McDonell. “We believe that we have a further 50 to 100 clubs that can potentially open, on top of the 300 territories already sold.”
According to McDonell-Jimenez, the Anytime Fitness business model offers franchisees an amazing balance of lifestyle and a rewarding business.
“Some of our franchisees own as many as nine clubs and still enjoy a great personal lifestyle. This is almost impossible to achieve in other franchise businesses,” said McDonell-Jimenez.
“We look for franchisees who understand the importance of sales and marketing along with an exceptional passion to deliver a great member experience. Our most successful franchisees focus on sales and marketing and hire a terrific club manager to produce an ideal club culture. Our clubs offer the members what they need – great equipment, personal attention, and convenient and affordable facilities, open anytime.”
