5 reasons talking to others is good for your happiness
As recent project partners with the TV project Excess Baggage, The Happiness Institute was able to work closely with the contestants.
After several weeks to get to know each other, the relationship between the contestants and The Happiness Institute grew, as well as the impact of their discussions.
This experience has helped the positive psychology franchise reinforced the power of talking to someone else about your problems.
The Happiness Institute highlights the 5 reasons why it’s good for your happiness to talk to other people about your problems:
- A problem shared is a problem halved
- It provides perspective
- They might have experience dealing with something similar and, therefore, ideas for solutions
- Feeling understood and connected feels good
- Talking helps to clarity what's really going on
