To position Beauty Spa Club International as leaders in the health, beauty and
wellness industry for franchise based luxury Spa Clubs throughout Australia and
Asia Pacific.
History
SOSA Group Ltd was established in November 2004 by founding Director Cameron
Fancourt who has owned and operated many successful tourism based and service
based businesses. Seeing an opportunity to capitalise on a niche in the Day Spa
industry, Cameron has used the years of business contacts and relationships
within the tourism industry and the extensive use of Day Spas over many years,
to form the Spas Of Serenity Australia (SOSA) Group network.
In May 2007, SOSA commenced capital raising to expand the Australian operation.
During this process the company partnered with a significant international
investor that saw synergies in the Asian operations being merged with the
Australian, hence on the 1st September 2007, SOSA became Spa Resources
Australasia (SRAU) in line with the branding and strategy of Spa Resources
International Ltd (SRI). Upon the two companies merging, SRAU ceased capital
raising via ASSOB.
In November 2007, SRAU commenced research on the feasibility of frachising and
assigned a reputable franchise solicitor and accountant to discuss the Beauty
Spa Club International franchise model in both Australia and Asia. The franchise
model was completed in early February 2008 and by early April, two franchises
were successfully sold.
Marketing levy – standard contribution is 1% of gross revenue monthly to
the BSCI marketing levy to ensure the BSCI name and label is constantly being
enforced. This marketing levy is managed by the BSCI marketing team for BSCI
business owners and/or managers.
This cost covers:
- Maintenance and development of the BSCI website
- Full access to all marketing images/photos from the in-house BSCI graphic
designer
- Complimentary access to promotional marketing material

guidance

FAQ’s
What is the franchise application process to own a Beauty Spa Club International
Spa?
Please note: this is a brief overview of the franchising process only. Meeting
all requirements does not ensure a successful application.
1. You expressed interest to learn more by either completing our online
‘Expression of Interest’ form or called and spoke to our Business Development
Manager.
2. Our BDM will assess the suitability of both parties and will send a Welcome
Package which includes; Introduction to Beauty Spa Club International, an
overview of who we are, how our franchise system works, worksheet of financial
information, product information & FAQ’s.
4. Your financial statements will be reviewed by our Financial Management Team.
Your preliminary application is then assessed and you will be sent a second
package which includes a confidentiality agreement, request for deposit ($5,000)
and a follow up call from our BDM.
5. Upon acceptance the Franchise Solicitor will send you:
a. Instruction Letter
b. Draft Franchise Agreement
c. Copy of Franchise Code of Conduct
d. Disclosure Document
6. Once forms are completed, signed and sent back to the Solicitor for review, a
meeting is setup with our franchise specialists to discuss the agreement and
assess your action plans (bring your own business plan).
7. Franchise Solicitor will draft final documents and once approved, final
payment will be taken.
How much does it cost to own a franchise?
The initial franchise fee is $55,000 plus GST. This does not include the cost of
the spa. Total franchise costs could range from 120K to 300K depending on the
spa purchased.
Under what terms is my initial agreement?
We offer a term of 5 years initially providing certain criteria is met.

To assist in the success of your business, Beauty Spa Club International will provide support in meeting targets:
