How did Altura Espresso Start?
Altura Coffee has been in the business of importing the finest beans available
from around the world, roasting and blending locally and then supplying some of
Australia’s leading restaurants, cafes and hotels for many years. Responding to
the market, they decided to share the product of their labours with a wider
group of discriminating coffee drinkers. They did this by forming Altura
Espresso Vending with the purpose of installing coffee vending machines in
workplaces at no cost to the business owner. This provided staff with the
opportunity to readily obtain first grade gourmet coffee without having to leave
the office and allowed them to consume the coffee whilst it remained at the
desired temperature.
Become a Franchisee
No prior knowledge is required to become an Altura Espresso franchisee. You will
be provided with comprehensive training and given assistance to locate the first
machine. The installation costs are included in the franchise fee for the
initial 10 machines.
Generally speaking, eight hours are more than enough time to clean and replenish
10 machines. It may suit you to retain someone to carry out that task on your
behalf as it normally does not require technical expertise.
Who would benefit from becoming a franchisee?
- Someone who wants to be their own boss
- Someone who wants the freedom and flexibility to work when they want to
- Someone who is sick of the nine to five grind
- Someone who wants a second income
- Someone who is tired of the pressure of their job
- Someone who has a family member wanting a start in business
- Someone who has retired, perhaps bored or has insufficient retirement funds
- Someone who wants to spend more time with their family
- Someone who wants a regular income for minimal time outlay
