Jim’s Test & Tag gets compliance tick

Jim’s Test & Tag, the electrical testing and tagging arm of the Jim’s Group, has had its business model put under the microscope and was found to tick all the boxes in workplace safety and compliance.

The company was awarded ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certification after taking part in a triennial external audit by SAI Global, which examined all aspects of the Jim’s Test & Tag franchise including franchisee selection and training, operations manuals, customer service and industry practice.

The audit was a massive undertaking for the brand, and come with a significant financial investment, but according to divisional franchisor Neil Welsh, it was well worth it.

“We needed to prove we deliver a consistent service everywhere, which we do and in turn we run a better business because of it. We believe we are the only dedicated specialist test and tag organisation to be certified at this level and it means we can deliver what we say we can deliver.

“Our motto is ‘Prevention, Protection and Compliance – without compromise’. Jim’s Test & Tag franchisees and franchisors take their responsibilities extremely seriously and being certified at the highest level helps to reinforce this and also helps us generate work for our franchisees,” he said.
