EXHIBITOR FLOOR SPACE RUNNING OUT FOR THE BRISBANE FRANCHISING & BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES EXPO
With only limited availability left, exhibitors need to act fast to be involved in the Brisbane event of Australia’s premier franchising exhibition series. Held at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, 12 – 14 September 2008, the Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo promises to attract visitors who have both the passion and the means to invest in new business opportunities.
"The Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo offers a unique marketing opportunity for exhibitors," said Jon Perry, Exhibition Director, Franchising and Business Opportunities Expo.
"The large number of visitors who attend are already taking the first steps towards moving into a new business opportunity, so face-to-face meetings at the expo are a great way to demonstrate your business model and potentially seal deals with new buyers," he said.
Brisbane-based exhibitor Outback Jack's Bar and Grill is the fastest growing steak restaurant franchises in Australia.
Outback Jacks marketing manager Colby Smith says exhibiting at the Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo has helped substantially with the growth of the business.
"It gives us a lot of exposure and the ability to create talking points. It also gives people the opportunity to meet with us face to face, which makes a big difference."
Outback Jacks has exhibited at the expo for the past two years and as a direct result of the Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo has secured six new franchises, including the company’s master franchisor for WA.
"It’s great because it means you reach a really targeted market," says Smith.
Fellow Queensland exhibitor Jenni O’Neill of Allied Brands has also had great success at the expo.
O’Neill says the Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo is the perfect opportunity for Allied Brands, which includes Cookie Man , Kenny’s Cardiology and Baskin Robbins Expo gives, to recruit new franchisees.
"We’re really pleased with our results, and we plan to continue exhibiting at the show," says O’Neill.
O’Neill says the show also provides a great opportunity to market their products and services.
The 2008 Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo promises to deliver the most innovative advice to visitors looking to finalise their business buying decisions. Nearly half of all visitors in 2007 had more than $100,000 to invest and were very likely to purchase a business within the next 12 months.
Exhibitors at the show can also get involved the range seminars and special events being held. Forums such as the Franchising Network Lounge and Franchising Boot Camp will provide opportunities for exhibitors to enjoy quality interactions with potential buyers and franchisees at the show.
The Franchise & Business Opportunities Expo will be held alongside the Property and Investment Expos, which will deliver advice on everything from investment properties to holiday homes, share market investing and retirement planning in 2008. 23.06.2008
