Donut King sells healthy smoothies
Yoghurt smoothies are the latest line on offer at Donut King , the first step towards healthier snacks for the fast food franchise business which has more than 300 stores across Australia. The new smoothies, in three Fruity-licious flavours (Berry Buster, Mighty Mango and Banana Rama) are 99 percent fat free.
Donut King marketing manager Tracey Catterall said the smoothies represented a new strategy for the donut franchise. “More and more Australians are becoming increasingly health-conscious so we wanted to make sure we continued to offer delicious products that everyone can enjoy. Australian families have told us they still love Donut King’s delicious donuts but some parents are interested in a healthier alternative,” said Catterall.
