Worldwide Online Printing digital printing franchise raise over $15,000 for Teen Challenge

Worldwide Online Printing  digital printing franchise has raised $15,408 for Queensland youth support organisation, Teen challenge, through the sale of Christmas cards and calendars designed by winning entrants in their national design competition.

Teen Challenge has been helping young people by providing housing support, outreach services, rehabilitation and training programmes for over 30 years.

Worldwide Online Printing digital printing franchise in South Brisbane has been involved with Teen challenge for over ten years.

“We applaud the efforts of our friends at Teen Challenge and try to lend our support in any way we can, whether it’s through print sponsorship, fund-raising events or a campaigns such as our Christmas charity promotion and free accommodation for their head office,” said South Brisbane franchisee, George Bacic.

Teen Challenge Executive Director, Joanne Hobbs said, “Worldwide has been a tremendous supporter of Teen Challenge.

“Its donation will help us provide more assistance to young people suffering from the effects of homelessness and drug dependency, and associated life-controlling problems such as abuse and mental health problems.”

Worldwide digital printing franchises’ Christmas card and calendar design competition is accepting entries for this year until 6pm EST on 30 June 2011. Prizes include a MacBook Air for best design and an 8GB iPod touch and a $100 Apple voucher for runners up.

“Our annual card and calendar campaign has become a Christmas tradition,” said Worldwide’s National Sales and Marketing Manager, Jan Timms.

“We’re committed to helping make a difference to our community, and this has proved to be a great way to raise essential funds.”
