Workout World has renewed its high profile status as the official fitness equipment supplier to The Biggest Loser which kicks off on Network Ten on Sunday February 1.

Workout World first became the official fitness equipment supplier to Network Ten's The Biggest Loser three years ago. In 2009, the partnership is proving to be bigger and bolder than ever. In this year's series, Workout World is fitting out not one, but all three fitness spaces at Camp Biggest Loser, with cutting edge fitness equipment from market leading brands such as Cardio Gym, Avanti and Precor.

In The Biggest Loser house in 2009, contestants will be achieving their fitness goals using equipment available exclusively through the sports and fitness franchise. These include:

Cardio Gym - a fitness equipment revolution exclusive to Workout World that combines cardio and strength training, cutting workout times in half. Cardio Gym was designed and developed by Workout World for time-poor exercisers seeking a convenient, easy to use, and best of all, proven piece of home fitness equipment.

Cardio Gym users experience superior strength and endurance increases when compared against aerobic exercise alone. It offers limitless variation and is a time-saving workout that you can perform in the comfort and security of your own home.

Precor Adaptive Motion Trainer - a revolutionary elliptical cross trainer that adapts to a user's stride motion and stride length. Whether the user is stepping, running, or walking, the AMT moves the way the user wants to without the need to even press a button.

Other cutting edge fitness equipment in The Biggest Loser house includes a compelling mix of spin bikes, hand weights, leg press machines, ellipticals, rowing machines, lat machines, leg extension/leg curl machines, bicep curl, chest press, medicine balls and kettle bells and pec deck machines.

Workout World marketing manager Mark Garrahy says the retail franchise company is extremely excited to be continuing to strengthen the relationship with the ratings success story, The Biggest Loser through its official fitness equipment supplier agreement.

"The Biggest Loser is a highly motivational and educational television program which continues to strike a chord with Australians and the 2009 series is no exception with its refreshing and compelling 'couples' focus. We are proud to supply our quality fitness equipment to the Loser house, helping Loser couples' to make their personal fitness goals a reality."

"Home fitness equipment is a worthwhile investment for Australians seeking the convenience of a workout in the comfort and security of their own home.

Workout World encourages people who are keen to get healthy and active to take advantage of Workout World's specialist approach to fitness equipment retailing – with product and service expertise," Mark adds.

Fremantle Media Australia's director of factual programming and executive producer of The Biggest Loser, Paul Franklin, says that The Biggest Loser is pleased to continue the valuable partnership with reputable national fitness equipment retailer, Workout World.

"Having durable, quality, proven fitness equipment in The Biggest Loser house plays a critical role in the show's success and hence we are thrilled to be working closely with Workout World for the third year in a row and look forward to continuing this valuable relationship."
