What Scratch? expand into Victoria and South Australia
What Scratch? is expanding its operations into new states with large territories available for sale from this month in Victoria and South Australia. Franchises in the automotive scratch repair business have been selling since early 2009 in WA and NSW and What Scratch? is confident it will replicate the success of these two states in its new markets.
The innovative franchise attributes much of its franchisee success to selling territories with car dealership customers in place. New franchisees complete their four weeks of one on one training on customers’ cars in their dealerships and earn an income from the third week of training.
“Franchisees don’t need to spend weeks knocking on doors to find new customers, that has already been done for them so they have work from day one of their business,” franchisor Dale Burke said.
What Scratch? doesn’t have any problem gaining new dealership customers due to the high quality of its repairs and cut and polish work. What Scratch? automotive repair franchise own the exclusive Australian rights to a superior, environmentally friendly technology called Sprayless Scratch Repair (SSR). The patented product can be applied indoors or out and around other people because there is no messy overspray or dangerous fumes like traditional touch-up repairs.
What Scratch? automotive repair franchise provides franchisees with a range of lifestyle benefits including flexible hours with no weekend work, holiday relief and being able to expand or sell their business for a profit. No previous industry experience is required.
Territories are based on the number and size of dealership customers however there is a large residential population with every territory sold so the opportunity for extensive private work is also available. Franchisees are assisted by service centre staff to gain private work through local area marketing activities.
Franchisees are supported by the hands-on franchise owner, Matt Burke, with more than 28 years’ experience in the paint repair industry. The franchisor is assisted by Franchise Development Managers who are qualified tradesmen with similar experience to ensure franchisees receive expert ongoing support both in the field and over the telephone. The Managers are also available to help franchisees grow their business.
Franchises include four weeks one on one training, tools, product, uniforms, stationery, promotional material, vehicle racking and signage plus dealership customers.
