Wendy's Supa Sundaes ice cream franchise win awards at the 2011 Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Produce Show

Wendy's Supa Sundaes  ice cream franchise has walked away with awards for five of their ice cream flavours at the 2011 Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Produce Show.

Wendy’s ChocChip Cookie Dough, Hunky Chunky Strawberry, Crème Brulee, Vanilla Bean, and Wicked Choc all received silver medals.

The inclusion of Wendy’s ice cream franchises Hunky Chunky Strawberry flavour was a special win for the franchise as Wendy’s were the first in Australia to include a non-freezing chunky strawberry component that remains soft and chewy in their strawberry flavoured ice cream.

“Innovation and product development is a constant focus for us so we’re really pleased to have come away from the 2011 Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Produce Show with five silver medals,” said Wendy’s ice cream franchise CEO, Rob Mackay.
