Wahoo’s Fish Taco Australia is 100% Australian owned and operated and is the original fast, fresh and healthy Mexican style restaurant to open in Australia. We are the first to introduce a fish taco to the Australian consumer. Wahoo’s Fish Taco has been owned and operating since 2002 and still only uses the freshest, finest quality ingredients to create our delicious menu items.On a daily basis each restaurant dedicates itself to preparing and creating the entire menu in-house. All salsas, sauces, guacamole and beans are made from scratch each day. We use no microwaves; can openers or freezers in our restaurants. Don’t be fooled by other plastic restaurant chains who have tried to duplicate our style of food system, Wahoo’s have the original and best Fish Taco in Australia.

Capital Investment Required:
Wahoo’s Fish Taco licensed franchise is $35,000 + GST above the complete fit-out costs. We take an annual license fee per location to be negotiated with each site. A Wahoo’s Fish Taco shop fit-out is usually around $250,000 but can vary depending on each location.We do not take a percentage of your gross sales like other franchises do. We want you to make the money and enjoy the lifestyle of owning your own Wahoo’s. If you have an existing restaurant we can also turn it into a Wahoo’s site.

We take your order off the counter as you would in a fast food establishment; however, from that point on we give service to you as though you were in a full-service restaurant.
Wahoo’s Fish Taco is the original Fast, Fresh, and Healthy Mexican style food in Australia. Our menu items are not limited as other Mexican style fast food chains are. We offer a variety of items on our menu that are trademarked and cater to all consumers.
We are not just a Taco Shop. We are a licensed establishment which offers everything from tacos, burritos, nacho’s, homemade hamburgers, and even wild wings served in your favourite sauce.
