Trios has Melbourne Franchise expo all 'wrapped up'

Trios is dedicated to providing healthy, fresh and tasty meal alternatives to health-conscious consumers in the form of its unique Laffé wraps and salads.
Managing Director and Co-Founder Mr David Elia said Trios was not only an alternative to greasy fast food, but also a nice change from the traditional and often bland sandwich.
“Just because something is good for you and low in fat doesn’t mean it has to taste bad,” he said. “We try to encourage healthy eating by ensuring our products are full of flavour, whilst also being healthy and high in fibre.”
With 12 stores currently operating in Melbourne, and a further two expected to open in weeks, Trios will pave the way for healthy eating that is quick, easy and affordable. “Recent research released by BIS Shrapnel found consumers are demanding healthier fast-food options,” Mr Elia said.
“Trios fills a void in a fast-food market dominated with greasy and fatty food by providing healthy wraps and salads that can be prepared just as quickly as a hamburger or hot chips.”
As a result of the increased demand for healthy fast-food, Trios has experienced rapid growth since its beginnings in 2002 and will make its interstate debut in November with two stores opening in Sydney, followed by a further two in Brisbane, taking the national total to 16 outlets. “Our short-term growth plan is to establish 50 stores by the end of 2006 and at this stage we are certainly on the path to achieve that goal,” Mr Elia said.
“We’ve experienced great success at other franchising expos around the country and hope the Melbourne Expo proves a great opportunity to present our brand to potential franchisees.”
