Healthy wrap franchise, Trios , has opened its first new concept store in Houston, Texas. The casual dining experience will also be brought back to Australia with Melbourne franchises due to open around the end of December 2009.
The healthy eating franchise group, which currently has a number of food-court style outlets and stand alone shops around the world, including seven in Saudi Arabia, is now opening a chain of more relaxed, cafe style venues.
"Over the last year and a half, we've been designing and rebranding Trios to take it into a new direction," said Sam Elia, Brand Director with the healthy eating franchise group.
The new concept store embraces "a restaurant-style dining, but more in a fast-express environment. You walk in, you've got seats, you order and you eat. Two people can meet or two girls can go for lunch and you can have a great wrap, a healthy wrap," he said.
Created in 2003, Trios has 11 healthy eating franchises in Melbourne. Houston's new concept store opened approximately eight weeks ago, and the company plans to open another four stores in Houston by the end of the year.
