Introducing David Thexton from Thexton Armstrong

David Thexton relocated to Australia in 2002 with his family after a long and very successful career in New Zealand creating and building Rio Beverages Ltd. Rio was started in 1982 and over twenty years made seven acquisitions, formed a joint venture with Cerebos Greggs Ltd in 1997, and then in 2002 the company was sold to Coca Cola Corporation.

Rio had over 300 staff at the time and revenues of $100m NZD. The company had 16 brands and was market leader in nearly all non alcoholic beverage categories.

David drove in the v8 Supercar series in 2003/2004 season notching up several creditable placings with the most prized being 16th at Bathurst. Thexton Consulting commenced business in Australia in 2005 offering high level consulting services to a variety of businesses.

David has extensive skills in sales and marketing in large companies in the fast moving consumer goods industry. His experience covers brand development, advertising, pricing negotiations, managing large and small sales teams, budgeting and sales forecasting.

In his time, David has helped many companies develop into successful profitable businesses. Through working with many clients, David has developed a powerful consulting programme called Business Success Programme that literally breathes life back into ailing businesses and in many cases saves them. The BSP has been developed into a consulting programme that is licensed to accountants and consultants. 

Thexton Armstrong was formed in early 2009 with the sole intention to merge the talents and intellectual property of David Thexton and Wayne Armstrong into a new company that licenses accounting and consulting firms to use its Business Success Programme with their clients.
