Financing for small business – A new option for Western Australia
The Interface Financial Group brings a new dimension to small business financing for Western Australia with the opening of their first financial services franchise office in Perth.
The Interface Financial Group has been providing short term working capital for small business through a proven invoice discounting program for 37 years. With more than 140 offices in the United States, Canada, and New Zealand, Interface business services franchise is now well positioned to enter the Australian marketplace.
Interface financial services franchise network has maintained a presence in Sydney for some time and is now gearing up to service the small business needs of companies from coast to coast. Interface operates through an established franchising model and local businessman and entrepreneur Hitesh Jethwa has secured the Area Development rights for Interface in Western Australia.
“Hitesh joins Interface with his own proven record in business, with a strong banking and trading background.” Said David Banfield, President of the financial services franchise group.
Jethwa received his B.S. degree in Business Administration at USIU Nairobi and his MBA at USIU San Diego. Returning to Nairobi in the late 1980s Jethwa and his partners opened Victoria Finance Co. which later became a full fledged bank, the Victoria Commercial Bank. His areas of responsibility at the bank included treasury, marketing, and finance.
Through the mid 1990s Jethwa founded Stirling Developers, a property development firm involved in housing development and syndicated client investments; was Managing Director of Victoria Towers Ltd., with full project management responsibility for the 10-storey bank building; and was Managing Director of Eurocon Tiles, a manufacturer of cement tiles used in their projects and in the general market.
In 2000, Jethwa and his family relocated to Australia where he and his partners purchased a wholesale distribution company involved in importation and distribution of food and household products to supermarkets. He also represented companies in the East Coast for their distribution to supermarkets. At the same time, Jethwa ventured into property development in Perth including industrial buildings and housing projects.
In response to becoming an Area Developer for Interface, Hitesh Jethwa said, “Having had financial experience for the last 20 years, and experience in running a wholesale business, I am looking forward to building The Interface Financial Group in Western Australia. There is certainly a need for Interface’s alternative funding program.”
Sometimes conventional financing is just not an option for a young growing business. It is usually under such circumstances that Interface can provide their “use-it-as-you-need-it” service. The Interface approach to cash flow acceleration allows small business to grow and often grow at an exponential pace.
