The Happiness Institute are a positive psychology coaching franchises offers their short courses, for executives and managers, on creating happy atmospheres and environments in the workplace. In doing so, employees would become happier and more productive.
The Happiness Institutes delivers a three day course in positive psychology coaching in conjunction with the University of Technology, Sydney.
“Every course we’ve run over the last four years has sold out,” says Sharp.
“We fell into a little bit of a trap last year because demand was so high that we bumped the numbers up and the classes got a bit big and we lost a bit of the intimacy, so we’ve actually pulled it back a bit.”
The course offers a practical introduction to the principles of positive psychology coaching and covers strategies to help workers clarify their direction and goals and find meaning in what they do. They positive psychology franchises also teach lessons of health and wellbeing, building and fostering hope and optimism, as well as team building and collaboration.
We know that people who find meaning and purpose in their work tend to be more engaged and if they’re more engaged they perform better,” says Sharp.
The Happiness Institutes’ workplace happiness short courses are capped at 30 participants and operate three or four times a year in Sydney and Melbourne.
