The Happiness Institute’s community of positive psychology licencees grows
In just over 18 months, The Happiness Institute has established a network of positive psychology licencees in four locations across Australia, and anticipates that two rural practices will join its growing ranks in the near future.
Most current licencees have reached their one year anniversaries and resigned to continue offering the company’s product, reporting satisfaction with the investment and its benefits.
The licencees have successfully used the intellectual property provided by The Happiness Institute to develop courses, seminars and workshops that are based on the principles of positive psychology.
Specialising in child raising, corporate consulting and keynote speaking, The Happiness Institute's Brisbane licencee recently travelled to Kingaroy to deliver a full day workshop on how to raise happy and confident children.
Parents were shown how to incorporate the principles of positive psychology into their child raising strategies. Offering this service in a rural area was well received, with participants regarding the workshop as a valuable experience.
The company's Canberra licencee focuses on developing short courses and half day workshops that concentrate on certain areas of positive psychology.
Her master class in happiness has proved popular, as has a new half day workshop in which participants learn strategies for how to best use individual strengths.
These small group sessions are described as interactive and focused, offering a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
The Happiness Institute's licensee in Melbourne has also been kept busy, with his positive psychology coaching services taking a particular focus on schools and their students.
His aim is to develop children who are healthy, strong and resilient, and educators who can effectively foster these qualities.
Early in the year, he also had success with a general group course devised for adults that focussed on getting happy.
Along with the newest addition to the ranks of The Happiness Institute, based in Perth, all licencees have developed sophisticated websites and innovative ways to interact with their market via social media.
With plans to soon expand into rural areas, including particular interest coming from a rural NSW district, The Happiness Institute is confident its licencees will continue to find success with the company’s products.
Flexible in its application capability and dynamic in its room for growth, The Happiness Institute’s message of positive psychology offers licencees a less rigid alternative to other life coaching franchises, allowing them to develop their business to suit their individual strengths.
