The Happiness Institute extends message of positive psychology with ‘The Happiness Diet’
Professor Timothy Sharp, positive psychology expert and founder of The Happiness Institute , has recently designed a new program, The Happiness Diet.
Due to launch in October at an information seminar, The Happiness Diet offers a unique strategy for those seeking to lose weight.
Professor Sharp, otherwise known as Dr Happy, has drawn on his concept of ‘the tyranny of when’ to develop this new program. The Happiness Diet aims to teach people the benefits of positive psychology, and how to be positive before instituting changes to their lifestyle.
By first engaging in motivating thinking patterns, participants will then be able to increase the effectiveness of integrating healthy eating and lifestyle habits in their lifestyle.
A well-known advocate of positive psychology in Australia, Professor Sharp has written a number of successful books on the topic, which include The Happiness Handbook, 100 Ways to Happiness, 100 Ways to Happy Children, and The Good Sleep Guide.
Through The Happiness Institute, he has developed an alternative to traditional life coaching franchises, allowing coaching or psychology professionals to purchase a licence that enables them to purchase intellectual property based on positive psychology coaching methods, tools and principles.
