The Happiness Institute expands to the West Coast

Since introducing franchising in 2006, and then switching to a more flexible licensing model in 2009, The Happiness Institute is pleased to announce the recruitment of a Perth based licensee.

This means that the business coaching network will now have achieved presence in five states, including Qld, NSW, ACT, Vic and now WA.

A licence with the coaching services company constitutes an agreement between them and an individual, school or organisation, enabling that entity to use the institute’s intellectual property for their coaching business, students or staff.

Built around the principles of positive psychology, the intellectual property consists of coaching programs and materials covering topics such as building positive relationships, happiness at work, resilience and optimism. This can be applied to individual, group or workshop based formats for clients, and can even be used for keynote presentations.

In summary, there are many ways that investors can make the intellectual property work for them and their business.

Additionally, a licence from The Happiness Institute also involves monthly webinar meetings with Professor Tim Sharp and fellow licensees. In these webinars a range of issues can be discussed, including delivery of the intellectual property and business management solutions. By way of marketing, all licensees will appear on The Happiness Institute’s webpage, which rates high on Google, and the ability to use their other promotional mediums.

It is the goal of the positive psychology coaching group to one day build a national network of licensees who will work together, help their fellow licensees with coaching, marketing and business development ideas and possibly lay the foundations for a large national conference that promotes the principles of positive psychology.
