Half day seminar offered by The Happiness Institute
The Happiness Institute helps to enhance happiness and assist people in living their best life via coaching, workshops, products, seminars and corporate events. Additionally, they endeavour to spread the message of Positive Psychology by allowing qualified coaching and counselling professionals to disseminate their intellectual property under licences, which are similar to a psychology franchise or counselling franchise, but offer more flexibility.
Professor Timothy Sharp, who is one of Australia’s leading clinical and coaching psychologists, has developed a new approach; one that involves getting happy first. The principle is that by creating positivity in the first instance people will be more likely to achieve their goals. This idea is supported by well-conducted, valid and reliable scientific studies. The Happiness Institute see this as a finding of profound significance as it means rather than succumbing to ‘the tyranny of when’, individuals can utilise ‘the power of then’, meaning that if happiness is created first, ‘then’, people will achieve more of their goals.
Professor Sharp has designed a half-day seminar to help people find more happiness and success in life. The seminar title ‘The Primacy of Positivity’ is not just based on the presentation of science and coaching principles, but also actively incorporates performances and presentations specifically chosen and designed to boost positivity within the actual event, ensuring that people will leave the session excited as well as inspired.
Professor Sharp has called in two brilliant and inspirational friends to compliment his psychological expertise in order to achieve this challenging goal.
He will be joined by Anthony Ackroyd, one of Australia’s favourite comedians who is set to explain the immense benefits of laughter. Also joining Professor Sharp will be Mr. Percival, otherwise known as vocal artist Darren Percival (director of Ensembleous Spontaneous Vocalous). He will bring fresh ideas about the power of the human voice.
‘The Primacy of Positivity’ will be held in Sydney on May 15th.
