About The Coffee Club Franchising Pty Ltd
The Coffee Club Franchising Pty Ltd

With nearly 200 cafes in Australia and New Zealand and great plans for international expansion, The Coffee Club is Australia’s largest locally owned coffee group, serving over 30 million cups of coffee a year. A successful franchise, The Coffee Club Group offers a proven track record, excellent training and ongoing support.

The Coffee Club’s growth and brand integrity is backed by best practice systems. These include outstanding training and operational support, set alongside innovative marketing strategies.

The appointment of overseas master franchises is set to be replicated in other markets including the Gulf States, Korea and Thailand.

The Coffee Club franchise options provide not only a viable business opportunity but a chance to own a piece of strong brand entity. There are several things to consider in evaluating this venture.

In order to achieve the best practice status in the retail hospitality industry, The Coffee Club has created the six building blocks of The Coffee Club franchise system. These are:

  1. Mission & Core Values

  2. People

  3. Marketing

  4. Operations

  5. Property

  6. Financial Management

Franchisees are trained in each of these areas using contemporary teaching methods and detailed manuals developed by the company. As a franchisee, you will also be supported by a team of franchise consultants.

These building blocks are constantly refined to update business processes to keep up with the changing needs of the industry. While the main objective is to foster brand growth and integrity, the highest priority is the continued support and commitment to our franchisees.

Despite our name, The Coffee Club offers more than just excellent coffee and good food. We offer convenience, variety and a relaxed atmosphere to all our patrons, and this is reflected in how our stores operate.

With decades of experience in the hospitality industry, The Coffee Club has developed standardised operating procedures and store infrastructure to reduce hassle for our franchisees. These proven systems improve store efficiency and ensure that all in store practices run smoothly.

Establishing yourself in The Coffee Club franchise system requires an initial capital investment of $400,000-$550,000.

This is an initial franchise and training fee that allows The Coffee Club to establish the franchise business. It compensates for:

  • Location selection

  • Lease negotiation

  • Design

  • Fit out

  • Training

  • Opening assistance

  • The Coffee Club intellectual property

Following establishment there is an ongoing franchise fee and advertising levy (at present 6% and 2% respectively). These entitle franchisees to benefit from:

  • Marketing

  • Supplier selection

  • Volume buying arrangements

  • Standardised accounting and reporting

  • Research

  • Staff training

This is a franchise system that has been proven in hundreds of successful locations throughout The Coffee Club network.

If you agree that The Coffee Club is the kind of business that you’re looking for, you should then complete the online application form. This provides us with a great deal of insight about your goals in business and what you want of life. We will use this information to begin to narrow down the options available and help plan your future. Then we’ll meet with you to discuss it further..

Where will we meet? At The Coffee Club, of course.
