TeleChoice CEO Ehab Abdou said the premium dealer had capitalised on its fantastic relationship with Optus.
“The excellent coverage and quality of service of Optus’ mobile phone network has enabled us to build reputable stores that offer premium services to customers.
“The renewed deal will allow our store growth to continue across Australia, ensuring consumers have both choice and great deal options when it comes to mobile phones,” Ehab Abdou concluded.
Under the terms of the agreement, TeleChoice computer and internet franchise will continue to sell Optus packages exclusively to its customers. TeleChoice is also able to offer exclusive deals under the Optus TeleChoice Plan banner and its own customer discount schemes.
“We chose to continue our relationship with the nation-wide mobile phone retailer because of its significant contribution to the retail business and its highly regarded position in the telecommunications market,” Mark Brunton, Optus Consumer Sales Director said.
“We have established a long and successful relationship with TeleChoice, which we wanted to retain.
“Our partnership with TeleChoice retail franchise has been a prosperous one and we hope that the relationship will continue to yield the results that have been delivered since it began in 2001,” Mr Brunton said.
Underpinning TeleChoice’s agreement with Optus is the premium dealer’s aggressive expansion plans. Since its beginnings in 1995, TeleChoice has grown to 120 outlets nationwide and. plans to grow to more than 200 stores within the next two years.
