Is Australia’s franchising boom over?
by
Sumo Salad
Franchisees are spending more time educating themselves with regards to the franchising sector and are exploring different franchising opportunities where they believe there is sustainable growth and longevity.
For a young brand in the relatively new SumoSalad has experienced a rapid increase in the number of franchises sold. We have also received a lot of inquires from sub-regional areas within Australia indicating that the franchise industry is changing geographically. Typically franchises are focused on major city destinations, however now most successful franchise systems are able to grow and offer strong support in non-metro locations.
