Success Tax Professionals accounting services franchise focus on brand regonition and professional development
Co-founder of the Success Tax Professionals accounting services franchise, Tracy James, recently spoke of the importance of brand recognition and learning at a Professional Development session. Ms James’ background is in learning outcomes, change management and performance improvement.
“The franchisor of Success Tax Professionals continuously works to raise the profile of our accountants and the Success Tax Professionals brand. This forms a critical aspect of our various Business Development Programmes. The strong benefits of networking, affiliation with professional bodies, and interaction with the media are important catalysts for promoting both our franchise and available services to the consumer market. Our accountants are coached to actively contribute to our outreach programmes. Taking ownership of the brand is essential to the culture we create," said James.
"As the franchisor, we seriously look at brand recognition and multifaceted business growth and investigate meaningful options. We exist in a changing market and a changing environment. It is not enough to just know the market and what the customer wants. You then have to deliver this in a unique and superior way.
"‘Superior’ is very important to us and that’s why our professional development programme is structured so intensively. Learning must be at least equal to, or greater than the rate of change if you want to succeed. The public would be surprised to know how many accountants do not participate in ongoing professional development. Their knowledge is nowhere near what it should be. This is unacceptable in our organisation and all of our accountants are involved in compulsory learning and consolidation programmes to extend and upgrade their knowledge," she continued.
"We encourage our accountants to become involved in ‘profile raising’ activities and to promote and apply their advanced knowledge and skills to achieve optimal results and customer satisfaction. Our role is also to assist in identifying suitable avenues to facilitate this highly worthwhile and rewarding practice.
"The term ‘value-added’ gets thrown around by businesses a lot, especially when advertising their customer service outcomes and often without any substance to back it up. When we say that we coach our accountants to provide value-added services we back it up with intensive training, supervision, franchise standards, our support network and even in-house quality assurance,” concluded James.
