Stufflers cuddly bear franchise opens in Campbelltown

Stufflers toy franchise has opened their make-your-own-bear business in Campbelltown, NSW. The bear franchise is owned and operated by two friends, Karen Kent and Sue Drieman, who are now officially part of the new Australian-grown franchise system.

The Stufflers franchise system is based upon the successful American Build-a-Bear model, which allowed children to create their own stuffed toy bear from choosing the bear skin, a love insert, optional sound chip to a customised outfit. Every bear made also receives a birth certificate to mark the occasion.

Stufflers also expands their service to cater for childrens parties. The toy franchises can bring their exclusive mobile stuffing machine to the event, which can also include vacation care, child care, schools and many other corporate events.

“There are no franchise chains for mobile bear making that can be found anywhere around the world. We see Stufflers as a great opportunity for whole range of activities including private parties, child care, sporting games, charities and fundraising - the list is endless,” says John Newtown, Founder and Managing Director of Stufflers.

Stufflers childrens franchises was officially launched in Australia in July 2010 after 2 years of extensive development by John Newton. Newton is also the founder of the award-winning jumping castle franchise, Jumping J-Jays.

Stufflers, also managed by the same head office team as Jumping J-Jays, have their bear-building franchises across the country including the Gold Coast, QLD; Quakers Hill, NSW; Mornington, VIC; and their head office branch in Brisbane, QLD.
