Step into Life fitness training franchises participate in Oxfam's Trailwalker Challenge 2011
Step into Life fitness training franchises participated in the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker Challenge that aims to raise awareness and funds programs to overcome poverty and suffering around the world.
The challenge faced by participating Fitness Training franchises and their teams of four was a 48 hour, 100km journey through the Australian bush and to collectively raise over $1,000.
Each team is required to commit to donations of at least $1,000 to support programs that span 29 countries and cultures including Indigenous Australians.
Step into Life fitness training franchise in Heidelberg managed to top that minimum, raising $3,170 with $2,454,958 raised by all participants over the course of the event.
The Step into Life Glen Iris team also participated with the company hoping for even further involvement and more funds raised by teams in next years’ Trailwalker challenge.
