Snooze bedding franchises secure sixth position in Australian franchise survey

The top ten franchises in the quarterly Top Franchise awards have been announced, with Snooze bedding franchises improving four positions since the company’s first appearance in the awards in June 2010.

The awards are the result of a quarterly survey conducted by the independent consumer franchise website, which provides franchisees with a chance to express their thoughts on Australian franchise brands, and specifically focuses on:

• franchise renewal
• recommendation
• lifestyle; and
• business support.

The solid result for Snooze caps off twelve months of significant development and expansion for the bedding franchises.

The company has implemented a strong mentoring and franchise support system, as well as seeing a marked increase of multi-site franchise owners, with five existing Snooze franchise owners extending their reach by purchasing additional sites.

To meet the increased demand for sites, five new Snooze bedroom furniture franchises have been opened over the past twelve months, seven company-owned stores have been franchised, and five existing franchise stores have been resold.

Snooze Managing Director Simon Beaty attributes much of the brand’s continued success to a focus on the success of its franchise partners.

There are now 73 Snooze bedding franchises in operation across New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and Western Australia, with three new stores in Kotara, Chadstone and Alexandria recently opening.
