Snap digital printing franchise employees dress for summer to shake the winter blues
The weather may be freezing but across Australia on July 3rd, employees of Snap digital printing franchises will be donning their shorts, t-shirts and thongs.
In an effort to shake the winter-blues, employees have been asked to dress for someplace you would rather be.
Grant Vernon, CEO of the digital printing franchise said he expected a lot of people would rather be somewhere warm at this time of the year.
"The weather has been pretty awful of late so I expect to see some summer clothes in the office tomorrow," Grant said.
Grant said the ‘Dress for someplace you would rather be’ day was aimed at injecting some fun into the workplace to shake the winter blues.
"It is the middle of winter, we have just completed the financial year – it can be a stressful time," Grant said.
"Sometimes it makes sense to let your hair down at work and getting out of the corporate uniform is a great way to do it," he added.
Grant said staff at the digital printing franchise's corporate offices in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney would be involved as would most of Snap’s 150 centres across the country.
