Snap Printing in Port Macquarie is getting its fair share of attention lately, but not for its printing and design services. It is the centre’s new ‘delivery vehicle’ which has been drawing admirers of all ages.
In fact, says owner Caron Dyball, people have been coming in from the street, just to look at the scooter, which is on display at the William St centre.
“It is a pretty cool old scooter and we have had customers and members of the public coming in and sharing stories about the Vespas they used to own,” she said. “Our staff also think it is pretty special.”
Caron said she purchased the scooter to promote the Win a Vespa competition that is run by the digital printing franchise group, where customers go into a draw to win a new Vespa with each purchase.
“It is a great promotion and so we printed up t-shirts, dressed up the store and plan to have a lot of fun with the whole theme,” Caron says. “It also gave me the perfect excuse to purchase the classic Vespa”
As much as the staff are enjoying the attention, the Vespa will be put to work after the competition is finished, delivering print jobs in and around Port Macquarie.
Caron says she is certain it will get its fair share of attention out in the street – and it has other advantages. “It is a lot more fun than a delivery van and much easier to park!”
To win a Vespa with Snap Printing, customers need to make a purchase before 31 July, pay the invoice by 31 August and register their details online. The prize is a new Vespa LX 50 in a colour of the winner’s choice.
