Snap Fitness franchise targets Perth
Snap Fitness has opened their first fitness franchise in Perth, as part of a wider strategy to expand the U.S. fitness franchises network throughout Australia.
The company has its sights firmly on WA as a major focus for investment, and franchisees, brothers Gary and Sumeet Bagga from West Leederville and their Victoria Park Snap Fitness franchise are the first steps to achieving their ambitious expansion plans.
Snap’s fitness franchises offer 24/7 gym access to members, the most technologically advanced Technogym exercise equipment and minimal staff to reduce overheads. Snap Victoria Park underwent extensive renovations and a full fit-out to prepare for opening.
A leading brand in the U.S., the Snap Fitness franchise system offers a proven formula to entrepreneurs wanting to buy into the highly profitable fitness industry, estimated to be worth $21B.
“Snap is the antidote to faceless ‘big box’ gyms which don’t cater to the individual members’ needs and ask members to pay a high premium for services they rarely, if ever, use,” new franchisee, Sumeet Bagga said.
“The modern consumer expects greater flexibility from their service providers – they’re also a lot more wary of being tied into long contracts and skeptical of businesses that ask them to sign the next 12 months of their life away.
“As well as being open all hours for customers’ convenience, Snap Fitness operates a no contract policy which allows customers to pay a fortnightly membership fee with no time commitment or expectation – it’s a model which is designed to suit the individual customer, not simply line the gym’s pockets.”
The brothers have an aggressive expansion plan that includes opening five more fitness franchises around Perth in the future. Their strategy bodes well with Snap Fitness which plans to open 200 clubs in Australia and New Zealand over the next four years.
