Seminar on stone and tile maintenance was a sell-out success

Garry Phillips, Managing Director with Slique International, was a guest speaker at the Full Frontal Stone and Tile Expo held in Sydney in August 2009.

For the first time since the specialist stone and tile expo was launched, architects were able to obtain Continuing Professional Development points from the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and other key industry bodies for attending seminars.

Mr Phillips ran an hour-long seminar titled ‘Best practices in stone and tile maintenance’.

The presentation provided basic background information necessary to understand how to limit stains, and improve the maintainability of tiling systems. It also assisted attendees in selecting products and in minimising the maintenance required to realise aesthetically satisfying installations.

The seminar’s popularity was overwhelming, and all seats were booked out within a matter of weeks. To meet ongoing demand, Mr Phillips is offering to conduct private seminars for industry groups or private companies who have 10 or more attendees.
