SIGNARAMA launches Photo Share Competition for smart phone ‘happy snappers’
Signarama , signage franchises, expands their brand by launching their national Photo Share Competition for all ‘happy snapper’ smart phone users.
The competition asks competitors to point their phones, or cameras, at signs they find around the nation and capture them with a creative flair. The emphasis will be design, with the sign being the focus of the shot.
“In the modern landscape we’re surrounded by signs, but do we notice them?” says SIGNARAMA’s National Director, Evan Foster.
“This is a national call-out to people to pay attention and get creative. We want to see original and interesting shots using the sign as part of the design.”
The judging panel will consist of Karoline Cumming of Clear Identity Graphic Design, Lindsay Smith of Eleven Eleven Design and Acacia Hayes of SIGNARAMA Surry Hills. First prize in the Photo Share Competition is a Sony Alpha Nex-5 Digital Camera with 18-55mm e-mount lens.
According to Foster, the competition would help bring Signarama’s brand name into the social media space.
“We’ve already got some great campaigns targeting specific industries planned over the next few months on Social Media,” says Foster.
“It’s a new area for us but we’re excited about the possibilities to drive enquiries for our franchisees and to have more conversations with our customers.”
The Photo Share Competition closes 26 September 2011. For more information, visit the Signarama website.
