Passanger bus wrapped in pink by Dandenong Sign A Rama retail franchise to promote breast cancer awareness
How do you raise awareness of a great fund raising event? Well if it’s the Make Breast Cancer History gala evening, simply borrow the printing services of the Sign A Rama retail franchise in Dandenong and wrap a passenger bus in trademark pink signage.
The store was given this mammoth task in September by the Grenda bus company, a major sponsor of the Make Breast Cancer History gala evening held annually in Melbourne in October.
It took the team from Sign A Rama a week to wrap the 57 seater passenger bus in eye-catching pink signage, designed pro bono by Davidson Branding.
The Pink Bus added some colour to Melbourne’s streets and helped to raise greater awareness of the need for continued funds - and it doesn’t stop there.
Grenda went the extra mile by creating custom-made pink seat covers generously donated by McConnell Seats Australia and their fabric supplier, Reatex’s to ensure the bus was as pink on the inside as it was on the outside.
The Pink Bus was on the streets of Melbourne from September 29th and received such great support from the public that Grenda kept the bus decked in pink until the end of the year.
All funds raised by the Make Breast Cancer History gala evening were donated to the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) and the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Sign A Rama Dandenong donated their printing services to help in making breast cancer history.
