ROSIE’S Chicken - The Add-On Business
ROSIE’S is not a franchise. Licensees “add” ROSIE’S into their existing business bringing all the benefits of high quality presentation and a world class brand – while keeping their independence!
ROSIE’S Chicken offers uniquely seasoned chicken in a variety of hot and cold ready-togo options. The first ROSIE’S systems went into takeaway food businesses and service stations in regional Western Australia and ROSIE’S operators generously praised these profitable and popular products.
“Many clients have told us that ROSIE’S saved their business”, said David Coles, ROSIE’S creator and Managing Director. “This is very gratifying. My partner and I get a real buzz out of our business. Many budding entrepreneurs like the idea of running their own business but it’s hard to compete as an independent. ROSIE’S success is quite simple really. ROSIE’S is NOT a franchise, but we do use the same marketing and branding techniques used by the larger franchises. Any small business can do it once they know how.
“Entry cost is low, as many businesses can easily add ROSIE’S using their existing cooking and display equipment. No extra staff or specialised equipment is required. Installation takes only two days”, David said.
ROSIE’S works in any type of business that sells fast food.
“A typical ROSIE’S makes $1,000 profit per week with some making as much as $4,000. These returns are usually generated for taxdeductible leasing repayments of around $75 per week. We can also arrange finance through our Sydney leasing centre.”
When asked what he wanted most for the future, David declared: “We need master licensees in the Eastern states to help us deal with the expansion of the Australian business. The potential to grow ROSIE’S seems unlimited and this is a genuine ground floor opportunity, but we can’t do it alone.
“We are looking for energetic sales-oriented business couples or partners who want a business they can grow and keep for life. This is a very easy business to manage and build.”
This unique concept is generating enquiries from around Australia and Asia says David, “We’re part of the New Exporter program run by AUSTRADE and we’ve also had numerous requests for licensing rights from the Asia Pacific”. People will need to act quickly - Singaporean, Malaysian and Indonesian rights have already been secured. 18.07.2008
