Regal Mattress Outlets has begun their mid year Great Australian Mattress Sale with the first of the regular ads to be seen on Channel 9.
“We have had a great 12 months of growth and television was the next logical step in our marketing strategy” said Braith Bamkin, Retail Sales and Marketing Manager of the retail bedding franchise network. “I think as Melbourne becomes more aware of our brand, the company will grow exponentially.”
Asked if the mattress franchise group has seen any downturn, Bamkin responded by saying “Of course things are different than 2 years ago, but we are finding that customers are coming to us with an expectation to save money. What we provide them with is a genuine opportunity to get a great mattress at factory direct prices. I think customers are shopping smarter and we are trying to meet their needs in both product and pricing, its about listening to what they tell us they want.”
The Channel 9 ads compliment a broad range of advertising mediums and franchisees are encouraged by the mattress franchise company’s capacity to communicate with the market.
Bob Jones, manager at the Hawthorn franchise said “Regal is constantly working to get our message to as many customers as possible and the store traffic has certainly grown this year. I think whilst we are being conservative in our approach to this year, our growth has been solid and I feel that Regal are working hard to develop the brand. It’s a good place to be.”
Regal Mattress Outelts is the retail arm of Regal Bedding. Regal makes a wide range of quality mattresses at their Noble Park factory. The company began franchising 2 years ago and has a mix of franchise and company stores across Melbourne.
Retail bedding franchise sites are currently available in Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo.
