Ready Steady Go Kids open new franchise in Altona North
Carmen and Byron Dodds are now set to take on the next Ready Steady Go Kids program in Altona North from following the success of the children’s sport franchises in Hoppers Crossing, Werribee and Geelong.
As parents and a professional trained in occupational therapy with experience in paediatrics, the couple are enthusiastic about the new project as they are dedicated to making the program accessible to as many children as possible.
The children’s sport’s franchise offers children aged from two-and-a-half to six years old classes that explore different sports while developing age appropriate motor skills. Children also have the opportunity to learn about the concept of sportsmanship by cooperating with their peers, taking turns and abiding by the rules.
Carmen Dodds believes that the Ready Steady Go Kids program is a fantastic precursor to school for young children and explains “We have seen the advantages the program provides not only to our own child but also to the children who’ve taken part since term four last year when we began our franchise.”
National Ready Steady Go Kids Director, Stuart Derbyshire, has expressed his excitement about the Dodds’ future with the children’s sport franchise as he believes their experience and dedication will only bring them success in the Altona North region.
The couple’s future goal is for potential growth to extend the program to families in the Williamstown, Newport and Footscray areas.
