Ready Steady Go Kids highlights the benefits of uniforms in a learning environment.

Ready Steady Go Kids is introducing uniforms for all participants in the program, under the implantation of their new policy. As part of the mandatory dress requirements, all kids will be required to wear the Ready Steady Go Kids t-shirt during class.

Empirical and theoretical studies have found that uniforms create a safer, more structured and positive learning environment for students of all ages. There are many advantages in uniforms that is frequently acknowledged and barely disputed.

Ready Steady Go Kids wants to highlight the benefits all participating children will receive with their new uniforms:

1. Promote an enhanced sense of inclusiveness, fosters team spirit and friendships
Sense of belonging is an important factor in building a child’s self-esteem and the socialisation process. When children are dressed the same they feel as they belong in a team. They are more willing to cooperate and encourage one another to achieve goals. It is an effect that often forges strong and lasting friendships.

2. Plays down physical appearances
For children, it can be difficult for them to understand why they might appear different to others. Uniforms help children feel as though they look like everyone else and reduces any self-consciousness.

3. Eliminate jealous and distractive behaviour

It is natural for children to fight for the attention of others and clothing is a common way for them to do so. This behaviour can be distractive and threatening and will often result in children competing for approval. Uniform allows a more levelled playing field and would result in a more productive learning experience.

4. Prepares children for learning
The action of dressing in a uniform prepares a child to focus. It sends them a message that they are going to a class. Children in uniform usually turn up more attentive and ready to learn.

The new Ready Steady Go Kids uniform has received positive feedback from parents who have children enrolled to their corresponding childrens fitness franchise.
